Developing marine insulation since 1937

When ISOVER first started making technical insulation, in 1937, the teams supported customers near their factory in St Etienne du Rouvray close to the Atlantic – many of which worked in the marine industry and at nearby shipyards. Since then, ISOVER has been helping naval architects and shipyard owners around the world optimise their projects.  

Over time, ISOVER has developed a specific Marine range catering to the needs of different kinds of vessels, from offshore to the navy. The latest innovation, Ultimate mineral wool is up to 50% lighter than traditional stone wool solutions for the same high level of thermal and acoustic performance and fire protection.
